The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' new-look forward line will be on show when they host the Western Bulldogs in their only official AFLW practice match at Arden St Oval on Saturday. 

New signing Kate Shierlaw, who had a noteworthy influence in last weekend's match simulation against Essendon at Windy Hill, has been named at centre half-forward in the club's squad of 24.

She joins fellow talls Emma King and Tahlia Randall in a forward trio that can be expected to cause opponents plenty of headaches this season.

Entry is free to Saturday's 12.05pm game, and the match will also be live streamed on NMFC.com.au and the North Melbourne Official App.

Trade period arrival Eliza Shannon has been named in the back pocket, while fellow new Roos Lulu Pullar and Ruby Tripodi will start on the bench.

Kangaroo fans should also get their first glimpse of Irish recruit Ailish Considine, who was added to the club's list after Vikki Wall's decision to sit out this season to chase her Olympic dream.

Two-time premiership winner Considine is one of three substitutes for Saturday's game, alongside Lucy Burke and Liz McGrath.

Tess Craven will miss after entering the concussion protocols during the win over the Bombers.

The practice match will incorporate the recently introduced rule adjustments, which includes longer quarters, interchange caps, adjustments to boundary throw ins and a cap on the use of runners.

The Kangaroos launch their premiership campaign against St Kilda at Hobart's Blundstone Arena in Round 1 on Sunday, September 3.
