Finn O’Sullivan will make his AFL debut in North Melbourne’s season opener at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night against the Western Bulldogs.

North Melbourne senior coach Alastair Clarkson told O’Sullivan he would make his debut in Round 1 during training on Tuesday morning.

Hailing from Koroit in Victoria’s west, O’Sullivan arrived at Arden Street in November after being selected with North Melbourne’s first pick and the second overall in the 2024 AFL Draft.

The 18-year-old midfielder impressed as a junior for Vic Country and the Oakleigh Chargers with his class, composure and ability to break games open.

He has been a standout on the track for the Kangaroos over the summer, showing off his versatility in multiple roles.

The Kangaroos’ full Round 1 team will be revealed on Thursday at 6.20pm AEDT.
