North fans are abuzz knowing two players will play their first games in the royal blue and white against Essendon tonight.

Nick Dal Santo, who joined the club via free agency, will play as a Roo after playing 260 as a Saint.

Dal Santo ($479,200 in AFL Fantasy Classic) has impressive fantasy credentials, having consistently averaged more than 100 fantasy points per game from 2009-2011.

The other debutant is of course Luke McDonald, who is expected to split his time between half-back and the midfield.

Luke promises to be one of this year's most fantasy-relevant rookies and at the price of $243,900, he has already been locked into the fantasy teams of coaches across the country.

Fantasy coaches should also keep an eye on forwards Drew Petrie ($464,600) and Aaron Black ($384,500).

Last time these sides met, Drew kicked three goals and had a magnificent score of 134.

More importantly, the Bombers are going through some adjustments with their talls, having moved Michael Hurley back and Jake Carlisle forward.

With Hurley still adjusting, there's every chance Petrie or Black may be able to get off the leash and kick a bag.

One player who may surprise is Sam Wright ($262,500), who has had two of the biggest fantasy scores of his career against Essendon.

Last year, 25 disposals and a goal helped him rack up 99 points. In 2012, he had 32 disposals and a goal for 129 points; his career-best fantasy total.

A point of interest for fans and fantasy coaches alike will be where on the ground Lachie Hansen ($391,900) plays. Hansen averaged 90 fantasy points per game in his last ten matches of 2013, playing as a loose marking defender.

However he has been named in the forward pocket for Friday night's game, possibly foreshadowing a return to the forward line, where he has never been a high-scoring fantasy player.

Last but not least, don't forget to keep an eye on Shaun Atley ($365,800). Much has been spoken of his potential for a move to the midfield in 2014 and he could become a fantasy champ if it materialises.

For those still organising their AFL Fantasy Classic squads, there's a few players you ought to be considering heading into the final four games of the round.

A remarkable eleven debutants have been named for St Kilda's clash with Melbourne, and many of them are fantasy relevant. In particular, Luke Dunstan ($216,800), Dom Tyson ($218,400) and Viv Michie ($193,900) are midfield rookies that coaches should look at investing in. Jay Kennedy-Harris ($157,200) could be a good rookie to put on the bench in the forward line.

The Hawks have named Matt Suckling ($314,400) for his first game back since his ACL injury and he is one of the biggest bargains in AFL Fantasy Classic this year after missing all of 2013.

Coaches should also consider former Hawk Xavier Ellis ($135,500), who has been named on field for the Eagles in their Sunday clash with the
Bulldogs. He is ultra-cheap and a great option to put on the midfield bench.

And of course, don't forget to #LockInLuke on Friday night.
