Former AFL players Adam Tomlinson and Darcy Macpherson have joined North Melbourne's VFL side for the 2025 season.
Tomlinson was a Giants foundation player before crossing to Melbourne in 2020, playing 140 games at Greater Western Sydney - including a Grand Final - and appearing 45 times as a Demon.
Last year he managed eight games at Melbourne and dominated at VFL level, averaging 24 disposals over nine games.
Joining him as a new arrival at the Kangaroos is Macpherson, who played 97 games across seven seasons at the Gold Coast Suns between 2016-24.
Macpherson starred in Suns senior coach Stuart Dew's 2019 side, enjoying a career-best season which resulted in a third-place finish in that year's Club Champion vote count.
Since their arrivals at Arden Street Oval, the pair have mixed it up with the senior-listed players under the watchful eyes of head coach Alastair Clarkson and VFL senior coach Tom Lynch.
"We're extremely fortunate to have two players with a lot of AFL experience join us," Lynch told NMFC Media.
"Both bring a wealth of experience and will drive really high standards while showing our young players what's required to play at the highest level.
"Darcy and Adam's appetite to train and work hard is immense, and the way they teach and educate guys on and off the field is just as valuable.
"They're going to be great additions for both our VFL players but also our young AFL players and hopefully we can support them so they can continue elevating their football careers."
