In perhaps North’s most dominant performance of the season, its players have swept the voting in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.

It would come as little surprise to Kangaroos’ fans that Brent Harvey was recognised as the best man on the ground, polling strongly from both coaches.

Harvey finished with 39 disposals, 6 clearances, 6 inside 50’s and a goal in the 87-point win over the Lions.

A nine vote haul moves Harvey into the top 10 across the league with 30 votes in 2014.

Meanwhile, Sam Gibson’s ultra-consistent start to the season continued with a 35-disposal, 1 goal performance netting him eight votes.

Across the opening nine rounds, the midfielder has had less than 20 possessions on just one occasion, against the Bombers. It was the third week in a row he’s had at least 30 disposals.

Levi Greenwood has played with renewed energy since returning to the team in Round 2, and with 27 possessions and 7 clearances he was again a strong performer on Saturday.

Both he and Lindsay Thomas registered four votes, the latter off the back of 4 goals and a remarkable 5 goal assists.

Ben Cunnington (23 possessions, 6 tackles) and Nick Dal Santo (34 disposals, 6 inside 50’s) rounded out the voting with three and two respectively.
