The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have selected Irish prospect Amy Gavin Mangan with pick No.43 in the 2024 Telstra AFLW Draft.

The 25-year-old stood out to recruiters with her speed and agility while playing Gaelic football, as well as her ability to use her strong athletic traits to her advantage.

Gavin Mangan joins Claire Mahony in the Kangaroos’ 2024 draft class after the club selected Mahony with pick No.36 from the GWV Rebels.

Gavin Mangan becomes the fifth Irish player on the Kangaroos’ list, joining Vikki Wall (Meath), Erika O’Shea (Cork) Niamh Martin (Tipperary) and Bláithín Bogue (Fermanagh).
