North Melbourne defender Griffin Logue is eyeing a full return to training in the new year as he recovers from wrist surgery.
Logue made a successful return from an ACL injury late in 2024 but managed just two games before hurting his wrist against Geelong in Round 20, continuing a frustrating run with injuries.

Speaking at the club's Gold Coast pre-season camp, Logue said he was already participating in most drills and hungry to resume full-contact training.
"I'm loving being back out there," he told NMFC Media.
"Staying on the park is one thing I've always been striving for, and I think only once or twice (in my career) I've had a season where I've gone uninterrupted for the whole year.
"I owe it to the club, and I feel like I owe it to the boys as well, to get out there and just … do whatever I can for the team."
Callum Coleman-Jones - Achilles
Estimated return: May-June
Coleman-Jones is continuing to deal with his Achilles injury. He's estimated to return to full training around May-June of 2025.
Charlie Comben - Shoulder
Estimated return: January
Comben is currently in a reconditioning phase and is making his way back into contact drills after going under the knife for shoulder surgery at the end of the 2024 season. The key defender is expected to hit the ground running in January for full training.
Aidan Corr - Finger
Estimated return: Mid-late January
Corr will have a slightly delayed return to the park post-Christmas having recently undergone finger surgery. The defender is likely to be back in main training in mid to late January.
Kallan Dawson - Groin
Estimated return: January
Due to groin pain, Dawson has been on a managed program. He'll progress in his general reconditioning while working on his hip and groin strength before an estimated January return.
Wil Dawson - Shoulder
Estimated return: January/February
Dawson had AC joint stabilisation surgery in November but is back with the main group for skills training. He's been non-contact through December and is estimated to be back in full training in January or February.
Zane Duursma – Shoulder
Estimated return: January
The young high-flyer has been undertaking a modified training program since having shoulder surgery in late August. Duursma is estimated to be back in the mix come January next year.
Brayden George - Knee
Estimated return: April-June
George remains away from the main group as he continues to work his way back from the left ACL injury he suffered in June. The 20-year-old also had his right shoulder repaired early in his knee rehab so that it enables him a clean run at his football when he returns in April-June of 2025.
Josh Goater - Achilles
Estimated return: January/February
After passing through some key strength markers and his first on-field running session in August, Goater remains in modified training as his Achilles rehab continues. The versatile half-back is eyeing a return to full training in either January or February next year.
Jacob Konstanty - Foot
Estimated return: February
The trade recruit underwent foot surgery in September but is building his running volume and is estimated to join the main group in February.
Geordie Payne - Shin
Estimated return: December/January
Shin bone stress has impact Payne's pre-season training. Like Konstanty, the young Tasmanian is raising his running volume and will gradually reintegrate back into main training across January.
