1996 Premiership player Wayne Schwass was the second player inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame on Friday night.
With pace, courage and sublime skills, Schwass played 184 games for North in his 10 seasons at the club.
Recruited from South Warrnambool, Schwass made his debut in 1988 wearing the number 46 before switching to the number two he became famous in.
One of only 10 players to ever win back-to-back Syd Barker Medals, Schwass was also a key player in the '96 premiership team, as one of the best players on the ground.
