2. Marley Williams
The former Pie has been quick to make an impact at his new club, with his ability to lock down in defence and provide run the other way.
While his numbers weren't massive (12 disposals), Williams did everything the coach would have asked of him and even bobbed up with a vital goal late.
4. Shaun Higgins
A clear best-on-ground in the eyes of the coaches, Higgins was outstanding all day.
He finished with 27 disposals, 9 inside 50s, 7 clearances and 2 goals.
10. Ben Cunnington
Returning from suspension, North's number 10 was straight back to his best form.
28 possessions, 9 clearances and 7 tackles was Cunnington's output in a strong performance.
14. Trent Dumont
Tasked with the all-important role of playing on Patrick Dangerfield for much of the day, Dumont was able to provide plenty of run and drive for his team.
He finished with 24 disposals and 6 clearances, and while Dangerfield got away late, showed he can match it with the league's best.
25. Robbie Tarrant
A fascinating battle with Tom Hawkins saw both players have an impact on the game.
Tarrant pulled down 9 marks, 8 rebound 50s and racked up 28 disposals in a return to form after a tough first round.
31. Braydon Preuss
Plenty of praise has come the way of the North big man after a terrific performance in the absence of Todd Goldstein.
Preuss hit the packs hard, dominated the ruck battle and provided a target around the ground after gaining his place as a late inclusion.
50. Ben Brown
As he did in the season-opener, Brown provided plenty of trouble for the opposition defenders with his big leap and ability to mark the ball at the top of its flight.
He kicked three goals, took six marks, and even stood out with his ability to gather the ball at ground level, despite his 200 centimetre frame.
