North Melbourne’s Ben Cunnington has narrowly missed out on a top-10 finish the in the AFLCA Champion Player Award voting.
Cunnington finished eleventh on 71 votes, one vote off Josh Dunkley in 10th, and 36 votes back from eventual winner, Marcus Bontempelli.
Cunnington’s early season form saw him contend for the award, as he sat as high as second in Round 15.
