North Melbourne senior assistant coach Leigh Tudor has informed the club he will be leaving, in search of other opportunities in 2020 and beyond.
Tudor joined North at the end of 2013 as the midfield/transition coach, and became the forward-line coach in 2015.
His coaching career began in Geelong where he led the VFL side to a premiership in 2007, and formed part of the AFL premiership winning side.
He then moved to St Kilda where he was involved in two grand finals in three years and then worked alongside John Longmire at Sydney where he helped the Swans win the 2012 flag.
Tudor signed a multi-year deal the following year, to return to Arden St.
“Leigh brought an incredible amount of premiership experience and knowledge to North,” club CEO and managing director, Carl Dilena said.
“He has been a tremendous asset to the club and we sincerely thank him for his service, and wish him all the best for the future.”
Before his coaching career Tudor started his playing career at North in 1989. A half-forward, he managed eight games in four years and was traded to Geelong where he played in back-to-back grand finals in 1994 and 1995.
