Adelaide coach Don Pyke says Eddie Betts and Rory Sloane “should be fine” to take on North Melbourne on Saturday.

The Crows’ star pair are battling general soreness and a corked thigh respectively, but are likely to play at Blundstone Arena.

Betts sat out training on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, midfielder Riley Knight is a chance to return from a hamstring injury.

"(Knight) has to complete the session tonight (Wednesday) and we'll check his availability after that," Pyke said.

"He did some running on Monday and he hit the mark as we want.”

While the teams have very different records, the Crows are 6-0 and the Kangaroos 1-5, Pyke said North demanded a lot of respect.

"You've got to look at North's performances in the last month. They were beaten by under a goal three times and all those games against quality opposition.

"They are playing some really good footy and could quite easily be sitting with a different win, loss ratio.

"We've got a lot of respect for North Melbourne, the way they play and the quality of their players. We expect another great test on Saturday."

Despite a strong start to the season, Pyke won’t buy into talk the Crows are now premiership favourites.

"People projecting and people writing opinions is nice, but it's not relevant for what we're doing," he said.

"The reality is we're at round six.

"We've had a good start to the season, but there's a long way to go."

The Crows last played in Hobart in 2014.
