Liz McGrath will depart the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos after the club agreed to a trade with the West Coast Eagles on Friday.
McGrath heads west along with pick No.54 in the 2024 Telstra AFLW Draft as the Kangaroos receive pick No.42 in return.
The 26-year-old ruck joined the Kangaroos as a delisted free agent ahead of the 2023 season after playing three games at Port Adelaide in their inaugural AFLW campaign.
Despite being named as an emergency several times across her two seasons at Arden Street, McGrath was unable to break into the premiership-winning side.
North Melbourne AFLW list manager Flynn Loft thanked McGrath for her contribution to the club.
"We thank Liz for everything she has given during her two seasons at the club and we wish her well in her next chapter at the Eagles," Loft said.
The Kangaroos’ 2024 draft hand after the trade is picks No.18, 36, 42 and 72.
