Speaking to NMFC.com.au fore the clash against Essendon, the key-defender spoke of the dilemna.
"If Lauren (his wife) had gone into labor before the game started I would have been there for the birth," he said.
"If she hadn't been in labor I was definitely playing... but it worked out all good."
