Teakle earned a second crack through the 2024 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft in the back of half a season with East Fremantle that saw him land a spot in the WAFL team for its game against the SANFL.
A high-leaping ruck and a combative forward, he previously spent a season and a half with Port Adelaide over 2022 and 2023, where he featured in six matches as the team’s No.1 ruck.
North Melbourne debut: Round 14, 2024
2024: Teakle was called up just a week after he arrived at North Melbourne, and in a contrast with his time at the Power, featured mostly up forward as support for Nick Larkey.
He played every game for the rest of the season, impressed as a marking target and finished with nine goals with his first coming against Collingwood in his club debut.
