Ruck/forward Brynn Teakle will make his North Melbourne debut against Collingwood at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Teakle was selected by the Kangaroos with pick No.15 in the 2024 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft and became the first player in history to be picked up twice as a mid-season recruit, after previously being taken by Port Adelaide in 2022.
He played six games for the Power and since being delisted at the end of last season the 204cm West Australian has since been playing for East Fremantle in the WAFL where he has been a dominant tall.
The Roos' new No.43 made his VFL debut in last week's six-point win over the Coburg Lions, kicking a goal from his 13 disposals.
Teakle found out he would be playing in Friday morning's team meeting, with the Kangaroos' line-up to be confirmed on Friday afternoon at 5pm AEST.
Youngster Wil Dawson is the only confirmed out, having sustained a high-grade AC joint injury in the early stages of last week's game against the Eagles.
Sunday's match against the Magpies will be a celebration for the club as it throws back to the '90s to honour its 1999 premiership triumph.
