North Melbourne enters its clash with Essendon on the back of a famous win away to West Coast.

But with a number of high-profile Roos waiting in the wings, David Noble and the match committee will have some tough decisions to make at the selection table.

Charlie Lazzaro was the medical substitute for the win in Perth and could in the frame for a call-up to the 22 off the back of strong VFL form.

Kyron Hayden was a late out for last weekend’s clash with the Western Bulldogs, and could be considered for a spot in North’s backline.

Lachie Young and Atu Bosenavulagi provide further options in the backline, having both had experience at AFL level In 2021.

Rookie Patrick Walker was named in the emergencies for the first time this season as he edges closer to a debut.
