North Melbourne's Sam Wright has been cited by the AFL's Match Review Panel for contact to Essendon's Brent Stanton during Saturday night's match.
The AFL released the following details on the incident on Monday, with a decision on any penalties offered to be confirmed later today.
Sam Wright, North Melbourne, reported by umpire Matt Stevic for charging Brent Stanton, Essendon, during the second quarter of the Round One match between North Melbourne and Essendon, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday March 31, 2012.
