Summary
Not only is it the final game of Werribee’s season, it’s also the last match at Avalon Airport Oval before its redevelopment.
Ultimately it’s been a disappointing season for the Tigers, falling away after a strong start to be officially eliminated from finals contention in recent weeks.
It’s one last chance for all the players involved to either push their case for an AFL recall, or to take some good form into the next VFL pre-season.

The AFL contingent
North Melbourne (Werribee)
Aaron Black and Farren Ray have been named to make their returns after months out of action.
Black was in promising form before hurting his ankle midway through the season, while Ray will add extra polish to a midfield which has been undermanned at various stages of the year.
Elsewhere, youngsters Ed Vickers-Willis, Mitch Hibberd and Ryan Clarke have another chance to continue on from their excellent outings last week.
Sandringham (St Kilda)
Former Roo Luke Delaney has been named at full back, with every chance he’ll be lining up on ex-teammate Black at some stage during the afternoon.
Saints midfielders Jade Gresham and Blake Acres will be important movers as Sandringham looks to keep its top-four hopes alive.
The VFL contingent
Werribee
Matt Hanson’s season will likely see his name come up around the AFL when it’s time to discuss mature-age recruits, while fellow midfielder Tom Gribble has also been finding plenty of the ball in recent weeks.
