North Melbourne has elected to challenge the one-game suspension handed to Ben Cunnington for his bump on Rory Laird.

Cunnington was charged with engaging in rough conduct against Laird during the second quarter, with the incident initially assessed as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

The incident was classified as a one-match sanction for a first offence.

The club will head to the Tribunal on Tuesday night at 6pm, with updates available via our Twitter channel.
