North Melbourne has locked in its VFL playing list for the 2025 season.

Former AFL players Darcy Macpherson and Adam Tomlinson headline the additions for the club, as announced last month.

Macpherson played 97 games for Gold Coast between 2016-24, while Tomlinson arrives at Arden Street following stints for GWS and Melbourne that saw him play 185 AFL matches.

Olli Hotton also joins North Melbourne after two seasons at St Kilda. He headed to Moorabbin as the 35th pick of the 2022 draft but despite his versatility, couldn't crack into the Saints' starting team during 2023-24.

Fifteen players from the 2024 list including Louis Butler and Connor Downie are set to go again this year, while former captain Jack Watkins has moved across to SANFL side Port Adelaide.

Joining his younger brother Finn at the club is Paddy O'Sullivan, who has signed on to play VFL in the blue and white stripes.

North Melbourne's pre-season contests finished up on Sunday, with the Kangas falling narrowly to Sandringham at Arden Street Oval by two points.

The Roos will head south east this weekend to take on Casey at Casey Fields on Sunday, March 23 at 11.05am.
