After four weeks away from the club following back surgery, Scott returned to Arden Street on Monday.
Fresh from the bye weekend the players were quickly brought back to reality with a pre-training address from the returning coach.
The Roos were then straight into training in preparation for the crucial clash against the Gold Coast.
Interim coach Darren Crocker has filled the void for the last three matches and will again be in charge on Saturday’s with Scott unable to fly.
The Suns are set to regain Gary Ablett for the Metricon Stadium game with David Swallow and Rory Thompson also in contention, but they could be without Charlie Dixon who injured his ankle against Carlton.
