The Roos' launched their Wyndham Schools Program and Majak Daw, Daniel Wells and Drew Petrie all took a collective breather at Bethany Catholic Primary School in Werribee.
Daw said the four week football program is a great initiative to help young students engage in sport and learn more about AFL.
"The program is really good for kids in the area to learn more about footy," Daw told NMFC.com.au.
"In my position now as a player, it's really rewarding to come out, meet the students and encourage them to be active and get involved in AFL."
With a great number of families in the Wyndham area hailing from countries outside of Australia, Daw believes these programs will help more young children fall in love with the game from an early age.
"Some of these kids are more into soccer and other sports at the moment but if they can get involved in footy now while they're young, I'm sure we will be able to see even more diversity in the AFL in years to come.
"Footy programs like this will make sure kids are keeping active, having fun with their friends and hopefully becoming North Melbourne supporters in the process."
The schools program, run in partnership with the Werribee Tigers and Victoria University, promotes the importance of a healthy lifestyle through football and teamwork.
The 18 primary schools involved from the Wyndham region will all receive player visits, North giveaways and free tickets to home games at Etihad Stadium throughout the season.
