The place you want to be!
3. What is your advice to aspiring female footballers?
Don’t ever give up. If there is something you want to achieve in your football career (or life in general), then make it happen. Nothing is impossible!
4. My favourite thing about footy is …
The family you create! It becomes a second home, somewhere you can go and enjoy yourself with amazing people, playing the best sport in the world.
5. Do you have any pets?
I do, I have a dog called Mac and a cat called Cheese (Mac and Cheese)
6. Favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere warm with a beach!
7. Favourite song/band?
This is hard!! I have too many. All depends on my mood and what I’m doing. Can’t go wrong with Fleetwood Mac!
8. Best piece of advice you have ever received …
Just be yourself! No one else can be.

Love my job as a police officer and spending time with friends and family!

Darcy Vescio – She is so talented on the football field and so entertaining to watch! She is also hilarious and a lot of fun off the field.

Daisy Pearce - She is such a powerhouse of the women’s game and has created such a legacy. She has achieved so much in her career and never gave up, yet remains so humble.

‘Running through’ my first ever banner (50 games) at Fitzroy Junior Football club in under 11’s and bouncing straight back off the crepe paper!

Having my name called out in the draft!
15. Worst part of pre-season?
Blisters! Wearing in the new boots..
16. Weirdest pre-game tradition/ritual?
I don’t have one (Boring I know). I just like to take my dog for a big walk with a takeaway coffee and relax.
17. Favourite post-game treat …
Hmm, maybe a big sandwich or roll ... love a steak sandwhich!
18. What did you want to be when you were younger?
I wanted to be a nurse or a midwife.
19. Most influential person in your life?
My Pop, Max Hammond! He lived to 100 years old and is a lot of the reason I’m the person I am today!
20. Who is the funniest teammate?
Daisy Bateman – But please don’t tell her that.
21. How did you react when you were told you were going to play for an AFLW team?
I couldn’t believe it. It was a whirlwind of feelings and emotions and pure shock! It took me several days to really believe it and for everything to feel real and sink in.
22. My go-to activity during COVID-19 lockdown was …
Work! Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately I still had to work throughout lockdown. Although I was jealous of everyone working from home, I think I am grateful I didn’t lose my job. It kept me somewhat sane!
23. What was the weirdest hobby you picked up during COVID-19 lockdown?
Online shopping … my bank account suffered more than anything throughout lockdown, I think.
