Adelaide's Scott Thompson and Sam Kerridge are in a race against time to be fit for the round one clash against North Melbourne.
Thompson suffered a minor hamstring injury at training a fortnight ago, and is considered "touch and go" for the season opener at Adelaide Oval.
Kerridge joined his teammate on the sidelines last week, also suffering a hamstring injury during training.
"Sam did it in the warm up at training, but it’s very minor," Crows' coach Phil Walsh told 5AA.
"Sam did play NAB Challenge game one against North, so he has got some game time in him. But both him and Scott (Thompson), they’d be real touch and go if I was to go with them for round one."
Midfielder Brad Crouch has already been ruled out of the clash following foot surgery, with Sam Shaw (hamstring), Andy Otten (knee) and Brent Reilly (fractured skull) also facing extended time on the sidelines.
