Port Adelaide will be sweating on the fitness of midfielder Brad Ebert ahead of Saturday afternoon’s clash against North.
Ebert suffered a bruised lung in the Power’s loss to Hawthorn last week, and is set to be assessed during the week as he looks to prove his availability.
After the match, Port high performance manager Darren Burgess said the club was “hopeful he’ll be able to play against North Melbourne".
The Power may also look to recall ruckman Matthew Lobbe, with the big man having been sidelined since Round 6 due to injury.
“We’re confident on ‘Lobbes’,” Burgess said.
Lobbe was playing in the SANFL before his injury, but could be a handy inclusion given Todd Goldstein’s form on the weekend.
Like Lobbe, running onballer Matt White will also undergo a fitness assessment as he hopes to return from a pectoral injury, suffered in round one.
The Power have passed key-forward Charlie Dixon fit, despite a knock to the back against the Hawks.
