Thomas accepts reprimand
North Melbourne forward Lindsay Thomas has accepted a reprimand after being cited by the AFL Match Review Panel for striking.
With an early plea, Thomas receives 60 points towards his future record.
The Match Review Panel's findings were as follows:
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report available from the Richmond Football Club, the incident was assessed as negligent conduct (one point), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of four activation points resulting in a classification of a Level One offence drawing 80 demerit points and a reprimand. He has no existing good or bad record.
Thomas is free to play in the second round of the NAB Cup.
