This role will include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and assist coaching staff in their use of video editing programs, databases, statistical programs, presentations and other computer-related programs
- Support coaches and players in the use of SportsCode video editing software
- Capturing vision and coding statistics at training sessions
- Working closely with the Performance Analyst and Sport Science Director using a problem-based approach
- Significant Game Day role, including the technical setup of the Coaches Box and - Interchange Bench
- Troubleshooting of computer, AV and IT problems
- Overseeing the functioning and servicing of AV and IT equipment
- Development and management of databases
KEY SKILLS:
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of common software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Excellent knowledge of databases and ability to create and manage databases
- Very good knowledge of video editing programs – ability to learn SportsCode vision software and Champion Data programs
- An interest in team sports, particularly Australian Rules Football
- Very good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Initiative and ability to work independently
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Certificate 4 in a related area
Preferably an undergraduate degree in IT or computer science
Or, relevant industry experience
