For the first time this season, multiple injuries have hit the Kangaroos.

The absence of Nathan Grima, Daniel Wells and Leigh Adams against the Pies will open the door for some recalls and possible debuts.

kangaroos.com.au looks at the players in line for an AFL opportunity.

Have your say on the possible changes in the comments below.

Jack Ziebell

The vice-captain will be straight back in after serving a month long suspension.

Lindsay Thomas

Another lock - Thomas will be a welcome return to the North forward line after a two week Match Review Panel ban.

Luke Delaney

With Grima going down with hamstring tendonitis, Delaney may be called on to battle one of Travis Cloke or Chris Dawes. Named in the best players for North Ballarat last weekend, Delaney is accustomed to playing on the AFL powerhouses and made his debut on Jonathan Brown.

Levi Greenwood

Leigh Adams joked that Greenwood was the only player smiling when he went down with a shoulder injury on Sunday against Essendon. Jokes aside, the hard-at-it midfielder could be his best replacement with an ability to win the ball in the contest and shut down an opponent. He had 17 disposals for Werribee in his last VFL outing.

Cam Pedersen

Big and strong, Pedersen is another option to cover for Grima in defence with Cloke or Dawes looming large in the Magpie line-up. He had 21 disposals and 6 tackles for Werribee with his work-rate unquestionable.

Ben McKinley and Ben Warren

The mid-sized Werribee forwards had good games for the Tigers with McKinley one of the best on ground after nine shots on goal. Unfortunately, he was off target with his kicking and finished with 2 goals and 7 behinds. But he also grabbed a heap of the ball tallying 24 touches and 7 marks. Warren meanwhile was also busy with 3 goals and 13 disposals.

Cam Delaney

A matchup on Cloke or Dawes might be a bit too much for the young defender but he could be an option to play on Chris Tarrant as a mobile tall defender. With plenty of action in the North Ballarat backline, Delaney was reliable with 17 disposals, 14 one percenters and 7 spoils.

Ayden Kennedy

Kennedy continues to string good games together and is one of North Melbourne’s most improved players. He had 18 possessions and 5 marks and might get an opportunity before the year is out, but a match against the Pies might be too much of a big ask.

Ben Speight

Speight could play Adams’ role if required, or even be used as a sub. He had his best game for Werribee in the VFL last weekend collecting 23 touches including 13 handball receives.

Richardson, Sierakowski, Mullett

All tremendous runners and great users of the ball. Any member of this trio could come in to help break the Collingwood lines and penetrate the game. Will Sierakowski was the pick of the bunch from the VFL with 22 disposals to his name for the Tigers while Aaron Mullett played the role as North Melbourne emergency at Etihad. Cam Richardson had 21 disposals in a losing North Ballarat side.

Aaron Edwards and Aaron Black

With just two goals on the board for North Ballarat, it was a tough day at the office for the duo. Edwards had four shots on goal with one major to his name while Black managed just the one behind.

Brad McKenzie

With just one game under his belt since getting home from a training boost at altitude in Utah, McKenzie will have to find his feet at VFL level for at least another week before pulling on the North Melbourne jumper in 2012.

Mabon, Urquhart, Mangan, M.Warren, Daw.

All rookies without a chance of promotion just yet. Majak Daw was solid with 16 possessions, 5 marks, 5 tackles, 17 hit-outs and a goal. Brad Mangan held Edwards to just the one goal while young Ben Mabon battled hard in the ruck against Daw, Pedersen and Will Sullivan.
