This week Brent Harvey will equal the club's games record currently held by Glenn Archer as he lines up for the 311th time in North Melbourne colours.

To honour our champion, every day this week kangaroos.com.au will be posting a little fact to highlight his amazing career.

Did you know? Finding the footy

Brent Harvey sits 19th on the most disposals list since Champion Data started recording statistics in 1974.

Over 310 career games, that's an incredible average of 20.63 possessions a game.

He's ranked 18th in kicks with a total of 4111 and has handballed 2285 times during 16 seasons.

On 41 occasions he has registered over 30 disposals, with his best effort an amazing 44 against the Eagles last season - the most ever by a North Melbourne player.

During that match he had an amazing 25 handballs, while in 2000 he had leather poisoning with 29 kicks against the Saints.

Although he's spent most of his career as a midfielder, ‘Boomer’ still boasts a goal tally of 355 (16 of those in finals), ranking him seventh at the club since it joined the VFL competition.

Harvey has booted at least 10 goals a year in all but his first season when he only managed one game. His best effort was 36 in 2007 when he went close to claiming the Brownlow Medal.

The man can do it all, in fact he even managed a hit-out back in 1999, not bad for a player all of 172cm tall.
