With under a week to go until North Melbourne’s first historic match in Hobart, the club is pleased to announce 1,000 additional reserved seats are now available.

These prime seats are some of the only ones left available for Sunday’s game against the Greater Western Sydney Giants - which is expected to be a sell out.

North Melbourne co-vice captain Jack Ziebell flew to Hobart early in the week to promote the match with one of the club’s newest Tasmanian partners, the RACT.

Ziebell encouraged fans to pre-purchase their tickets now to avoid missing out.

"Some people might be waiting until the day of the game to rock up and get a ticket, but that's not a good plan. I'm told it could be a sell out well before then and there might be some disappointed footy fans turned away at the gate," Ziebell said.

"Jump online now or call the club to make sure you're there. That's the best advice I can give anyone planning to come along."

Club champion Wayne Carey delivered the match ball at last weekend’s game but this week will be more unique with the RACT Insurance blimp to drop the ball into Blundstone Arena.

After a close round one loss to Essendon, North is determined to atone and secure its first win of the season against the AFL’s newest team.
