Coming into the game midway through the third quarter, the second-year player collected 12 possessions and 5 marks. Perhaps more importantly from a fantasy perspective, 10 of McKenzie’s 12 possessions were kicks.
Despite only playing a quarter and a half, McKenzie led all North players in inside 50’s with five. It means that his team-mates were looking to use his skills by foot.
Elsewhere, Andrew Swallow ($468,000) led all Kangaroos with a score of 129. It was the captain’s highest score since his season opening 141 against Collingwood, and also his second-highest score ever against Fremantle. It was the perfect return to form after his season-low 76 points against Gold Coast.
Swallow failed to crack the century in either of his two games against Greater Western Sydney in 2012, indicating he may not be a certainty for a second consecutive high score on Sunday.
Levi Greenwood’s first game of the year returned a solid score of 92. He is currently at an awkward mid-price range of $254,500, however in his role he is bound to see a lot of the ball while he plays on the opposition’s best midfielder. If the number 24 is able to stay in the side for an extended stretch he should be able to increase his value significantly.
Ryan Bastinac ($382,800) was the second Kangaroo to post a ton, scoring 108. He is currently ranked fourth amongst Roos for Dream Team points in 2013.
