North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos premiership players Emma King, Kate Shierlaw and Nicole Bresnehan have each put pen to paper on new deals.

King, 30, and Bresnehan, 27, have signed on for two more years, keeping them at Arden Street until at least the end of 2026, while Shierlaw, 35, has signed on for 2025.

A dual All-Australian, King has played 88 games, including 74 as a Roo since crossing from Collingwood ahead of the Kangaroos’ entry into the competition in 2019.

Tasmanian product Bresnehan has played 63 games in the royal blue and white after being selected in the 2018 AFLW Draft.

Shierlaw arrived at Arden Street during the 2023 trade period following 44 games for St Kilda and Carlton and has added 24 more to her tally as a Roo.

"Emma and Nicole have been reliable players for us over several seasons now as inaugural Roos, while Kate has been a great addition to our program over the past two seasons," North Melbourne AFLW list manager Flynn Loft said.

"Emma continues to have a strong impact aerially inside 50 and up the line, and her ability to provide our midfielders with first use when in the ruck is terrific.

"Nicole is an important cog in our back half with her ability to offensively challenge the opposition but play a strong defensive role.

"Kate continues to improve each year, enjoying arguably her best season yet in 2024 with a career-high 18 goals, and has also been a great asset off the field with her leadership.

"We're excited to have all three players sign on and look forward to what they can continue to bring to our program."
