Kieran Harper sidelined for up to a month
North Melbourne livewire Kieran Harper could miss up to a month of footy after injuring his ankle.
Kangaroos’ director of medical service Steve Saunders says it was an unfortunate incident which brought about an early end to Harper’s day.
“Kieran jumped and took a mark in the pocket and was pushed in the contest which caused him to land awkwardly.
“He’ll be in a moon boot for the next week and we’ll get a specialist to review the injury in the next 24 hours.
“Worst case would be four weeks, but we’re hoping to get him back well before then, perhaps in two weeks if all goes well.”
Harper had been named as an emergency on a few occasions since losing his spot in the North team earlier in the year.
