North Melbourne's pre-season progress will be put to the test again as it faces reigning Grand Finalist Hawthorn in a practice match this weekend.
Having spent much of the summer training in Craigieburn, the Kangaroos will return to familiar surroundings on Saturday.
With three wins and a closely-fought loss to its name during the NAB Cup, North will be hoping to continue its good form as the home and away season draws near.
It's the perfect opportunity for Brad Scott to test his line-up, tactics and structures against one of the league's toughest teams.
