North supporters will get their first look at new recruit Nick Dal Santo when the club holds its annual Family Day on December 14.

Dal Santo and his fellow Roo team-mates will be fresh off a plane from Utah when they run out onto the Aegis Park oval during a special family day celebration.  Breaking with tradition, the club will host its yearly event around an opening training session allowing fans to see their new-look side up close.

Not only will it be the first chance to see the former Saint in North colours, but it will also be an opportunity to get a look at former Tiger Robbie Nahas, father/son Luke McDonald and the latest draftees.

As always, those in attendance will be encouraged to buy their memberships and merchandise from the Roo Shop and seek out their favourite Kangaroos for an autograph and photo when training concludes.

With loads of entertainment for the kids spread out around the ground and a special visit from Santa Claus, there’ll be plenty to do and see for the entire family.

However the main drawcard is expected to be the training run, with players to be put through a gruelling fitness and skills session.

North is also offering tickets to an exclusive VIP Lunch with those lucky enough to secure a spot to be the first to personally meet Dal Santo.

Avoid the lengthy queues and enjoy the comfort of our exclusive balcony area with the best views of open training on the day complete with a gourmet barbeque and drinks.

Dal Santo will make a guest appearance at the VIP Lunch after training and discuss his move to North, experiences in Utah and ambitions as a Kangaroo.  As a souvenir, VIPs will get a professional photo taken with him and have special access to the leadership group.  

We encourage event attendees to utilise public transport as there will be extremely limited parking.
Train: Any line going through the North Melbourne Station, which is then a 5 minute walk down Lauren Street.
Tram: Tram 57 stops at the intersection of Abbotsford and Arden Streets.
