North Melbourne will have the perfect dress rehearsal for Round 1 as it takes on Adelaide in its first NAB Challenge match.
The fixture was announced on Tuesday, with the Kangaroos also set to meet Hawthorn and Richmond in the lead-up to the home and away season.
Port Lincoln’s Centenary Oval will play host to its first AFL fixture since 2005, as the Crows and North face-off on Sunday March 1.
The following week, Brad Scott’s team will head to Shepparton to play the reigning premiers at Deakin Reserve on Sunday, March 8.
After a week’s break, the Kangaroos will finish their pre-season campaign with a clash against the Tigers at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, March 21.

Each team will participate in three fixtures, with Hawthorn and Collingwood kicking off proceedings on February 26 at Aurora Stadium.
North’s matches against the Hawks and Tigers will be televised on Foxtel.
