Breaking through the milestones
Brent Harvey will continue his march up the AFL games leaderboard on Sunday.
Harvey is in elite company, with only seven genuine superstars of the AFL ahead of him. Of the players he is yet to surpass, five have won 18 premierships between them.
With more than 2500 games between the top seven players, they have all been a fixture of the competition at some stage in the last 50 years.
In Round 4, Harvey will equal Bernie Quinlan on 366 before claiming outright seventh against Collingwood in Round 5.
By the end of the Home and Away season, Harvey could be up to 384 games and in third or fourth spot depending on Dustin Fletcher's movements. If there are finals to be factored in, the maximum Boomer can achieve is 388 games which would put him right up there and within reach of 400 next year.
