North Melbourne midfielder Aaron Hall has taken indefinite leave to focus on his mental health.
“Aaron has our full support as he works through some personal issues,” North GM football Cameron Joyce said.
“Aaron has indicated he needs to spend some time away from the club, to focus on his personal well-being and his family.”
Joyce said North expects Hall to return to football at some stage, but stated he is under no pressure to do so.
“The club and players will do everything to ensure Aaron is supported during this time, and knows he can take as much time as he needs.
“We trust that Aaron’s privacy will be maintained and that people respect his situation and understand how difficult and brave this decision has been for him.”
Hall will not be making any comment at this stage.
