North Melbourne is set to make at least one change to its line up this weekend.
Taylor Garner’s hamstring injury has ruled him out for 2-3 weeks, leaving a vacancy in the forward line.
Coming up against a Fremantle outfit desperate for its first win of the season, the forward pressure will be critical.

Forwards
Garner’s absence raises the question of which type of forward is most suited to replace him.
Mason Wood put his hand up for his first senior game of 2016, with a best on ground performance for Werribee last Sunday.
However there are a handful of small forwards waiting in the wings also in contention.
Kayne Turner and Robbie Nahas performed well in the VFL. Considering Turner was initially named in the 22 for the trip to Brisbane a fortnight ago, he could still be in the selectors’ minds.
Midfielders
With North beaten in the contested stakes against Melbourne, the club might look at a change to the mix through the centre.
Trent Dumont, one of the travelling emergencies, may be next in line, while the likes of Declan Mountford, Farren Ray, Ryan Clarke and Will Fordham all collected plenty of the ball in Werribee’s win.

Defenders
Brad McKenzie had a Werribee team high in rebound 50’s, and gives North another defensive option.
Fremantle provides a unique threat close to goal with the likes of Hayden Ballantyne and Michael Walters extremely dangerous at ground level, while Chris Mayne is a medium sized marking threat. The Dockers' midfielders often float forward to provide another option, while Matthew Pavlich will always be dangerous as a true, key position player.
