North Melbourne's two VFL aligned teams will play against each other in next week's 1st Preliminary Final, after Werribee today saluted by 69 points over the Casey Scorpions.

After an even opening term, the Tigers were dominant, booting 15 goals to six after the first change to record an impressive win.

James Podsiadly booted eight goals for the victors, while North Melbourne's Scott Thompson, Leigh Brown and Scott McMahon were all in the best.

The Tigers will take on North Ballarat next Sunday at TEAC Oval from 2.10pm. The winner will go through to the Grand Final to take on either Port Melbourne or Williamstown.

North Melbourne fans are urged to get along to the game and support the likes of Lachlan Hansen, Ben Ross, Todd Goldstein, Corey Jones and Blake Grima as well as Thompson, Brown and McMahon as they represent North Ballarat and Werribee in the race for Premiership success.
