kangaroos.com.au says

Mullett was the first rookie elevated to the senior list, beating an impressive field which included Sam Gibson. After playing four of the first six games, the form of Jamie Macmillan and Shaun Atley off the half back line relegated him to VFL level.

While he had multiple best on ground performances for North Ballarat, he was only able to play two more senior games. He could possibly consider himself unlucky to miss the Elimination Final after collecting 26 disposals and 10 marks in Round 23 against GWS.

Following the season Mullett was promoted to the senior list.
