North Melbourne will be looking to complete a perfect season at Blundstone Arena for third time when it takes on West Coast on Sunday.
Having beaten Carlton and Greater Western Sydney at the venue this year, the Kangaroos will be hoping to complete a clean sweep at their home-away-from-home for the first time since 2015.
That year, the Roos beat Richmond, St Kilda, and this weekend’s opponents West Coast, on their way to reaching the Preliminary Final.
The Round 10 clash in 2015 was the last time the two sides met at the venue, with North winning 13.7.85 to West Coast’s 10.15.75. However, West Coast did win the previous Blundstone Arena encounter by 2-points back in 2012.
The match is hugely significant for both teams, with North needing a win to keep their finals hopes alive, and the Eagles looking to consolidate their position in the top four.
Luckily for the Roos, their record at Blundstone is one of the best in the league at 76 per cent on a 13-4 win/loss record.
North will no doubt be looking to home-state hero, and Blundstone Arena all-time leading goal kicker Ben Brown, to fire it over the top of the in-form Eagles.
