Every Wednesday, until footy returns, we'll be heading into the archive to recap some of the great games throughout North Melbourne's rich history.
This week, we take you back to the Semi-Final of 2015, and a clash against Sydney at Stadium Australia.
Sydney had finished fourth in the home and away season, and after falling just nine points short of the minor premiers Fremantle in the Qualifying Final, were red-hot favourites.
North recorded a memorable win against Richmond the week previous, in front of over 90,000 fans, but having finished eighth were going to have to do it the hard way to advance in the finals.
Players and fans alike still had bad memories of a 71-point loss at the same venue a year earlier, but the Roos' form late in the year was as good as any team.

The off-season aquisitions of Shaun Higgins and Jarrad Waite had added further experience to an already talented North lineup, with all but six players boasting 100 games or more.
Among the younger brigade, Kayne Turner lined up for just his 12th game, Taylor Garner his 18th, and a pretty handy young forward, his 32nd ... Ben Brown.
The Swans were looming large though; the likes of Josh Kennedy and Dan Hannebery were in their prime, while a running defender was still causing havoc in what ended up being his final season, 33-year-old Rhyce Shaw.
