Games have been postponed and Australia is currently in one of its most challenging periods in recent history, but through it all, the amazing support from the North Melbourne family shines through.
While Roos' fans won't be able to see their team in action for at least two months, they've been digging deep to help the club.
37,350 members helped North to reach a pre-Round 1 membership record, and even since news of the postponement of the season, the remarkable generosity continues.
"The most amazing thing is the suspension was called on Sunday night and we’ve had 50 members sign up (since)," CEO Ben Amarfio explained on SEN on Tuesday.
"We are blown away by the loyalty and the backing of the people behind our club."
Some remarkable pledges of support are being captured across the club's social media channels:
Just received this DM from @jaketw16 ... a great @NMFCOfficial man. He was listening to Ben Amarfio on @1116sen ... this sums up our amazing supporters. ???????? pic.twitter.com/tVpI0AY8s6

"It’s amazing to think you can be told there’s no games for a couple of months and people get the phone and go 'well now I’m going to ring up and take out a membership'," Amarfio added.
"(It) is an unbelievable act of loyalty and support.”
The support we've received from our members has been nothing short of overwhelming.
