Black re-signs until end of 2017
Aaron Black has resisted a tempting offer from Fremantle and re-signed with the Roos to the end of 2017.
Black was contracted for next season but the Roos have secured the 22-year-old for a further three years after his breakthrough 2013 season.
Fremantle recently made the 192cm forward a lucrative long-term offer, despite Black having a year to run on his contract.
After playing just four games in his first three seasons at North, Black played 18 games this season and kicked 33.23.

From the moment Black returned to the Roos' team in round five this year against Hawthorn he quickly stamped himself as one of North's most exciting youngsters.
Quick on the lead, strong above his head and cat-like when the ball hits the ground, the former basketballer looks set to be a key part of North's attack for years to come.
