Two wins for North Melbourne so far in 2015, two lots of 10 votes from the coaches for Todd Goldstein.
The ruckman was magnificent against Geelong on Sunday, overcoming the Cats’ tag-team attack of Mark Blicavs and Rhys Stanley.
Goldstein picked up 21 disposals, 42 hit-outs, 8 clearances, 6 tackles and capped off his day with a late goal to all but seal the victory. The 26-year-old has also shot up to fifth in the overall standings.
Two midfielders registered votes, with Ben Cunnington polling four and Jack Ziebell two.
Cunnington had an equal team-high eight clearances, while Ziebell’s effort to recover from bruised lungs against Port Adelaide was rewarded with 20 disposals, 8 tackles and 5 clearances.
In the back half of the ground, Robbie Tarrant and Sam Wright polled their first votes of the season.
The duo repelled Geelong forward 50 entries time after time for the entire afternoon, while Tarrant almost completely neutralised the threat of Tom Hawkins in a quality performance.
