More than 80 women packed the boardroom at TressCox lawyers to hear from an experienced panel of women from a diverse range of professions.
Christine Nixon (former Chief Commissioner, Victoria Police), Karen Hart (GM, The Youth Junction Inc.) and Anne Barker (Managing Director of City West Water) spoke to the room of passionate North Melbourne supporters and shared stories about their unique experiences in their respective careers.
North Melbourne CEO Eugene Arocca was one of only two men to attend the event and despite appearing out of place, said he was delighted to be amongst such avid Kangaroos’ supporters.
“As I’ve always said, North Melbourne supporters are the most passionate and loyal in the competition and the Inspire women’s group is just another example of this,” Arocca told kangaroos.com.au.
“These businesswomen come together from many different professional industries and their love and dedication to our club never ceases to amaze me. Women are becoming more and more involved in AFL football and their respective clubs and we are very thankful to have such a fantastic group of North Melbourne ladies.”
