Will Phillips and George Wardlaw shone in the engine room, with Phillips racking up game-highs for tackles and clearances as well as collecting 25 disposals.

Wardlaw was also in and under, notching a game-high 13 contested possessions from 21 touches in just three quarters in his comeback game from a hamstring injury.

Kallan Dawson was the Kangaroos' best defender in the 49-point victory, racking up 21 disposals and 12 intercepts. He took some courageous marks early and used his dash to create attacks off the half-back line.

Talls Brynn Teakle and Finnbar Maley were prominent, with Teakle covering the ground well and Maley being the main talisman for North Melbourne down forward.

Teakle kicked two goals from his 19 disposals, while the high-flying Maley booted three goals to take his season tally to seven.
