Saturday afternoon will present one of the rare instances where North Melbourne players will be matched up against each other for premiership points.

Werribee faces North Ballarat in a VFL ANZAC Day clash at Avalon Airport Oval, and there is the high possibility for some friendly fire throughout the afternoon.

In his first game of 2015, Lachlan Hansen will likely spend some time on either Aaron Black or Braydon Preuss. The Roosters' forward pair loom as North Ballarat's key forwards as the side looks to go to 2-0 for the season.

In the ruck for Werribee, Daniel Currie and Majak Daw look to continue their partnership. Although Orren Stephenson is the Roosters' first ruckman, Preuss will spend periods of time around the contest giving the former AFL player a chop-out. These passages of the game are likely to see the North rookie against one of his teammates.

When either Currie or Daw floats forward for Werribee, a greeting with Joel Tippett is on the cards.

In North Ballarat's Round 1 encounter, Tippett spent his afternoon matched up on the biggest Collingwood key forward, with Currie and Daw fitting the same bill for Werribee this Saturday.

Elsewhere, the learning process for draftees Ed Vickers-Willis and Sam Durdin continues. The two will likely be in close proximity to each other for the majority of the match, with the former playing off half-back for Werribee and the latter a key-position forward for North Ballarat.
